Why measure work and activity impact?
Rheumatological conditions can affect more than pain levels or blood test results. They may also make it difficult to work, concentrate, move comfortably or complete ordinary daily activities. Tracking this impact can help patients explain their experience more clearly during a medical consultation.
How are the scores calculated?
The calculator combines the hours of work you missed because of your condition, how much your productivity was reduced during the hours you did work, and how much difficulty you had with your regular daily activities. Each result is expressed as a percentage of the past seven days. It is not a measure of disease activity and it does not diagnose any condition.
